When it comes to love poetry, just like any poetry, there are some basic rules and guidelines that you can abide by when writing. If you have not studied poetry, you may not be familiar with these. We are not going to delve too deeply into it. Instead, we are going to explain the basics so that anyone – no matter how young or old, can write excellent poetry on their own.
Before you start moaning and groaning – don’t worry, we’ve made this very simple and easy to understand and we’re only going to tell you the parts you really need to know. If you take it upon yourself to continue learning more about poetry and how to write it, then we think that is a great idea. But for the purposes of this book, we are keeping it fairly simple and basic.
